Through the site, might not be seen by the visitor. There are certain guidelines for plotting a website.

You visit different websites before designing any web page, from there you get the idea, some with good and bad content. There are two web designing myths which are widely followed by the web designers.

Content Supremacy:
It is noticed that the content which you write in the website must be up to the mark so that you hold the attention of visitors. Visitors look for animations and other interfaces for exploring their site.

While making the website you must keep in mind, there must be perfect balance between the animations and content so that it attracts attention of the customers and visitors.
Web designing doesn’t have any such rules, but it depends on the taste of target audience. Whether it be a static or dynamic site, how they fulfill the requirements of the visitors.

Graphic Dominance:
In a website if you put lot of graphics it looks attractive. Sometimes people who are new in this field of web designing, start making a website, they put all their theoretical knowledge in the site as they are not aware of the real market. They use all their new technologies and their ideas, and which makes their web-site over loaded. Because of it they may lose their visitors also. There should be a balance between graphics and content.

It is considered that large graphics take much longer time for downloading and mostly it depends upon the speed of the modem.

If you have a hundred kilobyte graphic and your visitor has a low modem then it will take ages to load. Your graphics must not be too much decorative. It must carry a good content. Without a appropriate content graphics is like a body without a soul. Your pages must not have too much graphics as due to that it takes much time to load.
